The most important questions to be asked are:
1. Are they licensed?
In the province of Ontario, the naturopathic doctors must complete four years of rigorous training in a naturopathic college, and then they are licensed by the college of naturopaths, a regulating body for the province of Ontario.
2. What is their background?
Some of the Naturopathic doctors have additional training in Acupuncture, and other eastern traditional approaches.
3. How long have they been in practice?
On top of their Naturopathic training, some of the practitioners have decades-long experience in treatment of patients with Naturopathic principles.
